“Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.” C.G. Jung

(17th century; used to rely on the constellation to navigate)

Only recently I found this quote from Jung. I was stunned since I discovered the fact myself in the proces when I started writing and exploring my psyche and the Universe. With diving deeper into myself and astrology I noticed that asteroid Jung (11515) is integrated into my North Node, meaning, it's exactly conjunct my karmic path ahead on 10° Pisces. In my progressed chart asteroid Angel (11911) joined my karmic route as well. Something of a mission it must be.

But what is meant by the quote?
All kind of things what is running through our heads on a daily base. Things what we do or say. Things what we buy or wanna do. Things what we crave to eat. Actually things what we do on an auto pilot and things we are pulled towards too. All these behaviors bubble up from the unconscious (and also ofcourse the consious) mind. These things (good and/or bad) determine your lifepath, as simple and small as they are.
To give an example. One simple action can change your (& others) future direction. It functions like the Butterfly effect.
You need to see it like this. The way you respond to situations is coming from your inner core. All the stuff what we don't see from the outside, but what is hidden from the inside. The inside is your character at birth build up with experiences. Unconscious bias for example. Via external situations, people, encounters you form ideas.

These little things give inspiration to build plans. These little things define our behaviors. Why do we do what we do, why do we say what we say? Sometimes we're in control and sometimes we're just not. The outer world triggers the inner world. And your inner world is the creator of manifestation.

Jung speaks of the 'Anima' and the 'Animus'; the anima makes up the totality of the unconscious feminine psychological qualities that a man possesses and the animus the masculine ones possessed by a woman. The word Anima means 'soul' in Italian, Latin. Imo it is that part what we unconsious seek in an other person, what we have to complete in ourselves to learn as a soul so our soul can evolve. Subconsciousness is the enabler to alchemize the chemistry of the energy what we are pulled towards too. The unseen, the unknown. The soul.
When you are not aware of your subconscious needs, you call it coincidence or fate. In fact, that doesn't exist, as the energy just pulls you where you need to be. Like magnets. The energy between magnets is not seen, though they pull towards eachother or repel one another. Higher vibrations or lower vibrations. Same is with frequencies. Once you put notice to what we call coincidences, you can start put attention to it and explore on a deeper level the meaning of it. Everything happens for reasons according to the energetic frequency & vibration that you are in.

If you take it on a higher level, picture that the planets have their characteristics send in energy. That energy imprints as the blueprint of your manifested body at time of birth at your first breath. These planets continue to travel through the Universe and make aspects to your blueprint and create harmonious or disharmonious aspects. These aspects what transiting planets make to your natal chart create energy where you attract what you send out. The outer planets (Uranus, Neptune, Pluto) determine your life path on the long term, the generational planets (Saturn & Jupiter) on mid term and the personal planets & lights (Venus, Mars, Mercury, Moon & Sun) on the short term. They all have their own rotation & cycle.
Like the inside of a clockwork the radars fit together, determing the energy what is given, seen by the outside pointers looking at 'what time it is'.

Looking at Pluto (planet of life & death - the soul) in your natal chart tells your core energetic imprint. Mine resides in Virgo in the 9th house, 25° in retrograde mode. Retrograde in the natal chart means revisiting that area of your chart/life with the intention to do this over again as the lessons meant to be learned haven't been learned in previous existence (yep, here's the woo woo again). At the time of my birth Pluto started turning retrograde on 30 December 1969 at 27° Virgo. The degrees from 27 till 25 in Virgo is the area for me to do all over. Since Pluto is the slowest mover of the Zodiac, these degree's are to be revised over an earthly timeframe of about 5/6 years (including it's retrogrades). Is it a coincidence that currently I am in this karmic revising period where I have been pulled to search deeper meaning and clearing clutter from my life? No! My life is piled up with experiences and Pluto is pointing that the time is there, that I have gained all what I needed to gain so I can start the journey inwards at Plutonic levels digging underneath the surface emptying the heavy weight. As transiting Pluto is at the end of Capricorn (which is also an Earth sign) making a trine with my natal Pluto. This period of introspection started already some time before Pluto entered 25° Capricorn, my vertex is on the other end, Cancer, at 23°. The big change started arround January 2020. At the time I experienced anxiety attacks just before the outburst of the pandemic. Pluto was exact on 23° of Capricorn and Saturn joining it soon. I had the strangest premonitions & dreams, about loosing all in my life. Now looking back at it (as I was just starting to learn astrology at the time), the pieces of the puzzle fit together. My life as it was hit the point of no return (vertex) and I was about to start the fearfull journey of the dark night of the soul to relive the past or early life fears to release it. Abandonment fears, fears of loss, fears of death, fears of illnesses. The only fear to fear, is the fear itself. Unless external facts are a reality to have & experience fear, the fear is just an illusion, triggered through subconscious energetic forces. But fear has a purpose, as it initiates change. Fear identifies itself with pain. That's what Pluto is all about. Trigger fear from the subconscious mind to give you the opportunity to strip down layer for layer what it is what is holding you back out of fear & pain. It's a scrupulous painful purification process; as when Pluto is involved, death, transformation, descruction but also life & construction is involved. Meaning circumstances leaving your life and entering your life. Death & rebirth. A phoenix rises from the ashes. But the old bird needs to be burned away first, before she has the capability to rise even more beautiful from the ashes. In that process there are the other planets contributing in what needs to be transformed. Every degree, aspect, motion, sign, cusp, angle & house fits it's own purpose in the birth chart. Time itself is an illusion. Bringing the subconscious to a concious level, in a way to recognize what you'd been given is an opportunity to step in and act according to the energy what is played out. I am 'fortunate' with outer planets being retrograde in my natal chart: Pluto, Neptune, Uranus & Jupiter. Meaning I have a chance to do things over what's been overlooked and requires a lot of introspection. Meaning my life has more roadblocks to overcome than the average person, the bumpy road is giving detours with opportunities to discover the hidden gems. Jupiter in Scorpio retrograde as ascendant ruler is my lead in this life to search beneath the surface. Neptune in the 12th house retrograde is my ability to see & feel it. Uranus retrograde at my medium coeli (MC, the highest point in the chart) functions as my antenna to 'the other side or higher realms' is helped by my Moon which is conjunct it, is giving me the needed insights to point me where to look and come to terms with it (Karma?) in an harmonious way.

That what lies beneath behind the horizon and scares you the most is only asking your attention to bring it above the horizon into the daylight. 'Cause when you keep pushing it down, it will backfire much stronger. The stars can be with their energy the tool to bring the subconscious mind to consious level to navigate through life. Like a compass they show you the way heading to the north star.
As soon as you understand that what you seek is what is seeking you, you realise it's destined and not fate.
