THE MOON - LA LUNA - LA BELLA LUNA - LA LUNA PIENA!

The moon  always been an mysterious light for me and has a magnetic pull to me. I never understood why, till later in life where I discovered that monthly cycles took me out of my emotional rhythm. I came to see a returning pattern. Two weeks the month I was feeling uplifted and two weeks the month I was feeling low. Also depending in the different seasons of the year where I feel high or low in energy.

Wherever I travelled in the world, the moon always travelled with me.

Since years ago many synchronicities came into my life, I started paying attention what came to my awareness.

Is it a coincidence that my name is Diana? Guess not, Diana the (roman) goddess of hunt & moon. Her Greek name is Artemis.

Is it a coincidence I am pulled to ancient wisdom? I guess not.

Is it a coincidence that I travelled the world and saw Rome, Athens & Cairo, I guess not.

Is it an coincidence that I love turning wisdom in form & shapes of words & creations that makes my art (turn Artemis arround!) I guess not.

It is a coincidence that the place where I work has close tie's to who I am and do? I guess not.

Is it a coincidence that I speak the Angelic, Germanic & Romanesque languages where I discover that words are derived from each other and embed a certain energy? I guess not.

Is it a coincidence what happens in one's life by meeting people who are crossing paths, short or long term and teaching you lessons & blessings? I guess not.

Everything happens for reasons, reasons we cannot comprehend beyond our day to day life and human earthly knowledge. Beyond time & space some people can see spiritually through this veil to teach & show others the work of light. Seeing, sensing & knowing in the twilight zone between heavenly & earthly boundaries.

More of my astrological journey through life can be found on my journey from Virgo to Pisces.

The most important monthly moon events are the new moon and the full moon.

Every month there is a new moon in the zodiac sign where the sun is and every month we have a full moon in the opposite zodiac sign.

Let's say, the Sun is in Aries (so March/April), than we will have a new moon in Aries and a full 🌝 moon in Libra. The moon is full when earth and the sun are opposed, the sunlight shines fully on the moon. The moon is new 🌚 when it's aligned with the sun, where we don't see the moon as the sun fully shadows the moon.  Both new & full moons can give emotionally overflows, you tend to be more sensitive, 'out of the blue'. With a new moon you can experience frustration when you are in a difficult cycle of your life and a new start is emphasized, whilst you are not yet able to start that new cycle. New moon's are monthly opportunities to set new intentions in whichever house it falls in your chart in which ever sign it is. When you are experiencing conflict within yourself, there might be a struggle with leaving the old behind and starting new. Every 6 months the moon cycle comes to a closure, as when the intentions of the new moon for let's say are set in Aries (April), the cycle of the full moon will finish what you started in Libra season, so September/October (the sun is than in the sign if Libra and the moon will be full in Aries).

The moon has the energy of the past and acts upon subconscious level, though people who have their moon close to the MC in the horoscope or other prominent place are more sensible to feel these energies at conscious level. The moon will tell you about how you feel & sense, lingers to the past, what you need emotionally to feel satisfied.

Women are most of the time more affected by these moon cycles and experience more of these sentimental imbalances, as women are represented by the moon (sign: cancer, symbol: the crab, they have a strong armor to protect themselves, they are called hermit-crabs and the hermit  is the card in the Tarot for when we close off from the outside world, when we need time for contemplation or do some soul-searching).

The moon cycles orbits around the zodiac in 27,3 days; women have the same menstrual cycle about every 28 days.

As above, so below!

The menstrual cycle of women, from ovulation (opportunity to create new life) to menstruation (let go what hasn't been received) or fertilization (creation of new life) is a representation of the moon cycles in women.

For those who understand the German language, the monthly periods of a woman are called 'Mondstand'  (translation: Mond = Moon, Stand = Position)

I'll bet that Cancer men also tend to feel these emotional moon-cycles, when they have a lot of planets set in their 4th house of their horoscope.

The human body exists for 70% out of water, we all know that the moon regulates ebb & flow tides on earth and therefor metaphorically the ebb & flows of life of the human body.

The moon stands for fertilization, motherhood, new life, nurturing, love and care. It controls the cycles of life.

The waning 🌘phase of the moon is between full & new moon. A cycle is completed and a new one is ahead.

The waxing πŸŒ’ phase of the moon is between new & full moon. A cycle is initiated and a full one is ready to be closed.

During the year we experience several eclipses; An eclipse means  a complete or partial hiding of the sun caused by the moon's passing between the sun and the earth; darkening of the moon caused by its entering the shadow of the earth. A halo appears.

Astrologically they are bringing big changes to our inner and outer lives, a cosmic shake up that you may or may not be ready for, specially when they occur on significant areas of your horoscope (ascendant, descendant, IC/MC or conjunct your (personal) planets and your north/south nodes) There are a minimum of 4 times the year that eclipses occur: 2 solar eclipses and 2 lunar eclipses, they happen around April/May and October/November. What are eclipses about?

The eclipses effecting your karmic path, which is shown in the chart as your north & south node (aka lunar nodes, dragon's head and dragons tale - I would like to refer to the section of the nodes on this website)
