Mine is in the 8th house, 23° of Cancer. Let's nail this down!
Have written already much about Scorpio and the 8th house: soul depths, transition, death, money, transformation.
Cancer: the home, the mother, the nurturing, the sensitive, the feelings, safety & security.
23°: the Aquarius degree, equality, freedom, erratic, unexpected change, the 'cut', electricity, innovative, unique, technology, exentric.
I can point many fatefull events out throughout the course of my life what changed me completely and pushed me in other directions, things which where just cut off for me. The screaming wound of emptyness.
It led me to deeply search the route of my life to find at least some understanding of the course of it which I 'don't agree' with. To find some kind of acceptance of the 'strange', 'erratic', 'transformative', 'fateful' experiences. Learning to face the demons throughout the face of adversity. So, 'bring it on' I decided.
That what's decided for you, aligns with you. The good, the bad, the ugly. It's a perfectly aligned process of the above, so below, as the within, so without. Meaning, that what you feel boiling up from the inside are actions noticeable to thrive through in the outside. That what happens outside, interacts with the inside. Simple right? Demon talks and dragons slaying.
In my chart I have the Sun in the 4th house and the Moon in the 10th. Aries & Libra. These are angle houses in astrology. What's brewing below (the horizon) is acting out above (the horizon) and vv.
The below part of the chart (houses from ascendant -where the sun comes up- to descendant -where the sun goes down-, counterclockwise) 1-6 are the houses below the horizon and the houses from 7-12 are above the horizon.
Below the horizon houses are about who you are, what are your norms & values, what you think, where you live, what you create and what you do on a d2d base, whilst the houses above the horizon are about who you relate too, what you share with others, what you believe, what your status is, who your friends are and what you hide from the outside world.
In other words, the 1st house is Aries, means who am I, the opposite house, the 7th house is Libra, means who are we as it's the house of your relationships. The 2nd house of Taurus is what am I worth materially and my values and the opposite house is the Scorpio 8th house, what means what are we worth together when you marry the person from the 7th house, what can we both transform, which possessions do we have together, how we merge on soul level. The 3rd house of Gemini means what I think, the opposite house is the 9th, Sagittarius, meaning what we believe. The 4th house is the house of Cancer and the mother, which nest you are born, where you actually live and the opposite 10th house of Capricorn is what you achieve in life. The 5th house of Leo is the house of pleasure, creations, games, children, outgoings where the opposite, the 11th house in Aquarius is with whom you do that, your friends! The 6th house of Virgo is what you encounter on a day to day life, like house chores, health matters, service to others and the opposite 12th house of Pisces is where you hide from the world when it's overwhelming or when you need to retreat and contemplate. Opposites need each other to balance it eventually out.
In other words, the 4th, 8th, 12th house (water), the 10th, 2nd, 6th house (earth), the 1st, 5th, 9th (fire) house and the 3rd, 7th, 11th house (air) they align with each other as an easy flow in the same element.
From March (start of the Aries season, spring) through September (Libra season, autumn), in my case the 4th house till the 10th house (Aries-Taurus-Gemini-Cancer-Leo-Virgo-Libra) caries my outgoing energy; from October till February (house 10 till 3rd included) caries my ingoing energy, contemplating months.
The outer planets, the most far away from earth, Pluto, Neptune and Uranus are the slowest movers of the zodiac. Some say their influence is generational or hardly noticeable. In my case, since they are very dominant in my chart - as well as they are retrograde, they give me the ability to see through, things I just know and understand. The farther backwards I can see, the farther forward I can look.
Neptune on the other hand and my Sun can't see each other. It's a blind spot. Information from this planet in my 12th house gets distorted across to my Sun. It gets clouded. As the 12th house is the undoing house, Neptune's own house and in my case Neptune is at 0° Sagittarius, under the influence of Scorpio's cusp. Nightmares are a normality for me. A life long. Doesn't mean every night, but a couple of times the year I have them.
Throughout my life I have recurring dreams. Not pleasant ones. Lucent dreams at times.
The 12th is the gateway to other realms and in my case the Scorpio cusp is in trine to my 8th house Vertex and trines into my mental Pisces 3rd house. When the trine gets activated by transit within an orb of 5°, something noticeable is happening outwardly and/or inwardly, since this point activates my Pluto. Pluto decides, rules, gives & takes life, transforms, transcends. It's the ultimate power and giving me the gifts, talent to my Sun again.
It gives, it takes, it rules.
This trine functions like the exposure triangle or the photographer triangle.
The triangle is made up of three components: shutter speed (closure speed), aperture (opening) ans ISO (light sensitivity).
The opening is created at the vertex, the light sensitivity is coming from the other realms and the closure speed is in my 3rd house.
With the right setting you get the right picture.
But sometimes it's not what you wanna capture, but what needs to be exposed as only than by the crack of the bold, the light can come through and only than it can alchemize into what it needs to be, by seeing what it just is, the good, the bad, the ugly, the opening (aperture), the light (ISO), the closure (shutter speed). As light doesn't have a shadow. It just exposes⚡️
